April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began with guitar and piano in the 7th grade, which ignited her interest. At the age of 12 She composed her debut single Different. At the age of 14, April was devoted for a long period of her time writing song ideas and practicing her music. The songwriting began alongside her father and her dad in NY and LA within a short time. April added other themes to the song "Take My Hand" for a few of her acquaintances who faced issues such as peer pressurization problems, as well as teens who committed suicide. Lockhart is also gaining a growing fan base as a lifestyle blogger and is employed by the renowned brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. It's true that she was born with no left hand and that makes her unique. However, this isn't the only characteristic of her. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability on her Instagram account, but she does not make it the main focus of her story. It's a reminder. The message is that we all share many identities, we're way more diverse than we think that we're. Lockhart, via video messages from his Nashville at home, claims that I don't wish for that to be a part of my character. I'm much more than my physical self. This doesn't influence my day-to-day life. I go about doing my job as normal and have found my own ways to adapt. It's also a part of me, and I believe that it is something to be talked about. Lockhart is a huge inspiration to her fellow women with regards to acceptance of oneself. Lockhart admits to having been through a series of phases in her body, and felt insecure at times to wear clothing that displayed the arms of her. She wears whatever she wants and proudly posts pictures of herself in the outfits she picks out on social media. Self-love, according to her, is like a journey. "I don't think you'll ever get in that place," she said. But I think that's for everyone, whatever they are struggling with. I believe that it's really important to surround yourself with people who can identify and feel your heart.
