Katherine Heigl admits that she was brought up in a white bubble, and how this experience impacted how she cared for her adoptive, multiracial kids. In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl admitted she was not concerned about her complexion until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. When I inquired of Meg about how she was treated when in public, in the presence of or without parents, she said it was completely different. Meg responded "Oh Yes! All the times!" Heigl said to her parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had resulted in me feeling." Heigl said she got angry and felt that it was important to focus her anger towards helping her adopted daughters. Heigl has a four year old son and a 13-year-old spouse, Josh Kelley. In 2009, they welcomed Nancy Leigh (12), a daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in the year 2012.
